We described the procedure for creating an account step by step in this article as well as in the video below!
1. First stage. On the Sii website you need to click on the “Mi Sii” tab. In the opened window enter the RUT number and click on the Solicitar Clave button.
2. Enter RUT and check the box next to “Acepto la Clausula”. Then click “Continuar”.
3. Next step. Enter the document number, Cedula (not RUT!), namely the Chilean ID number and confirmation code.
You will need to fill in all the fields marked with an asterisk in the opened window. Address: street, house number, apartment number, as well as region, district (commune), city.
4. The next step is to create and enter twice a password, email address and mobile phone number.
5. Click “Validar correo”.
6. You will receive a code to your email that you need to enter. Click the Confirmar button.
7. Next, enter the password recovery question and answer. For instance, what is your favorite color (Color) and the answer is green (Verde). Select all suggested options: log into your account using both a password and an electronic certificate on the last page of the form.

You can log into your personal account using the created password.
If an error appears at the third stage (see below), you need to visit the Sii office in person.
1. You need to approach the administrator by visiting the Sii service. As a rule, his workplace is located next to the entrance. The administrator will ask how he can help you. It is necessary to say “Hola! Hay error en la solicitud de clave” and show the error code on your phone.
The administrator will give you a talon.
The screens display talon and window numbers. Please, wait until you will be invited to talk with a specialist. After you are invited to a specialist, show a screenshot of the error and say the same phrase. The specialist will ask for your Cedula. He will give you a sheet with the code after these steps.
Important! Without leaving the tax office, you need to check the received code. To do this, you need to visit the Sii website, enter your RUT and the received code. If they let you through further, then everything is fine.
The password is valid for 48 hours. During this period, create a new password and fill in the details for registering your account.
The procedure is completed! Congratulations, your account has been created.
